Do People Still Blog Anymore?

So… do people still blog? We’re not sure, but here we are anyway, plunging headfirst into our own corner of the internet with straw hats and a basket of duck eggs. If blogging is passé, consider this our cheerful rebellion.

The Finch & Brambles is reinventing itself daily. We’ve traded row crops for duck eggs, flowers, and freeze-dried goods. We’ve swapped combines for garden shears and spreadsheets for seed trays (OK, truth be told, spreadsheets still get star billing around here). And while the land is the same, the rhythm is different.

We’re learning every day. Sometimes the lessons are small - like which flowers hold up best to encroaching grass. Sometimes they’re bigger - like how to build a business that honors both the soil and the soul. We’ve weathered midnight storms, wrangled runaway chickens, and learned a fox can take out a whole flock of chickens in a day! We’ve made mistakes, but we’ve also found joy in the unexpected 🌸 a perfect bloom 🐸the chorus of frogs at dusk🌾a quiet morning harvest.
